Yes. Your initial consultation is free. Before you decide to join, we’ll explain the membership price, what it includes, and any additional fees, so you can decide whether to move forward.
Your first doctor consultation is free. During the consultation, you’ll discuss your goals and medical history with a physician to see whether Balto may be able to help. If you choose to move forward, Balto membership is $35 for the first month, then $125/month.
Membership includes physician consultations, prescription support if appropriate, prior authorizations, follow-ups and appeals, nutrition coaching, and ordering/refill guidance. Medications are billed separately.
Balto is your ongoing watchdog against unnecessary healthcare costs. Your membership gives you medical professionals and advocates to turn to for new bills, expensive prescriptions, and insurance questions. Before scheduling a test or treatment, we can also help you understand your coverage and explore more affordable options, so you can avoid overpaying in the first place.
Yes. Our doctors are licensed in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Balto Health services are currently available in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming, and Washington, D.C.. We’re rapidly expanding, so if we’re not yet in your state, join the waitlist and we’ll notify you when we launch there.
No. You keep your current doctor and insurance. If a different insurance plan might better suit your needs, we can discuss your options. Changing plans is never required.
If we can’t reduce your healthcare costs, you won’t pay for our service. Any fees you’ve already paid to Balto will be refunded.
